ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΗ ΕΓΚΑΤΑΣΤΑΣΗ- Ο φούρνος Κουτουπέ παρασκεύαζε κάρβουνο από ξυλεία που εισαγόταν από τη Μικρά Ασία, το οποίο στη συνέχεια εξήγαγε στην Αίγυπτο και στη Μεσόγειο γενικότερα. Η αποθήκευση των κάρβουνων γινόταν λίγο πιο πέρα, στην περιοχή που σήμερα είναι γνωστή ως καρβουνιάρικά. Υπολείμματα του σιδερένιου μηχανισμού του φούρνου Κουτουπέ υπάρχουν μέχρι σήμερα στη θάλασσα.

INDUSTRIAL FACILITY- The Koutoupe oven made charcoal from wood imported from Asia Minor, which it then exported to Egypt and the Mediterranean in general. Coal was stored a little further away, in the area now known as the charcoal pit. Remains of the iron mechanism of the Koutoupe oven are still present in the sea.
