Δίωτος σκυφοειδής κρατήρας με βαθύ ημισφαιρικό σώμα ποικιλμένο με γραπτή διακόσμηση. Φέρει λοξότμητο χείλος, αποκλίνον προς τα έξω, το οποίο διακοσμείται από ολόβαφη σκουρόχρωμη ταινία. Οι κάθετες ταινιωτές λαβές εκφύονται από το χείλος, έχουν ελλειψοειδή διατομή, καταλήγουν στο μέσον περίπου της κοιλίας του αγγείου και διακοσμούνται από δύο ολόβαφες άνισες ταινίες. Από τη μέση του κρατήρα και κάτω σχηματίζονται ανισοϋψείς επάλληλες σκουρόχρωμες ταινίες, ενώ στη ζώνη που διαμορφώνεται μεταξύ των οριζόντιων διακοσμητικών ταινιών και του χείλους απεικονίζονται πουλιά. Ο τύπος της διακόσμησης ανήκει στον πλούσιο εικονιστικό ρυθμό που αντιπροσωπεύεται από την απεικόνιση ανθρώπινων μορφών, ζώων, υβριδικών πτηνών, ψαριών ακόμα και των κορυφαίων θεμάτων της περιφοράς και πρόθεσης του νεκρού (όπως μαρτυρούν νέα ευρήματα από τη μυκηναϊκή Ηλεία). Ο μυκηναίος αγγειογράφος εμπνέεται από τη μεγάλη ζωγραφική των τοιχογραφιών, αν και οι συνθέσεις στην αγγειογραφία είναι περισσότερο αφαιρετικές.

Skyphos-type crater with two handles, deep hemispherical body painted in dark pigment. Its rim is turning outwards, slightly slant, decorated with a dark zone. The vertical handles start from the rim and end in the middle of the vessel's belly; they are similarly decorated with two dark bands. From the middle to the bottom of the crater there are formed parallel dark bands, whereas in the zone formed between the horizontal bands and the rim are depicted birds. This kind of decoration belongs to the rich figurative style, represented by the depiction of human figures, hybrid birds, fish, even burial scenes (as attested in recently discovered pottery from Heleia). The Mycenaean painter is inspired by the wall-paingins, although the depictions on pottery are more simplified.
