O Άγιος Βασίλειος Μεθώνης είναι σταυροειδής εγγεγραμμένος ναός μεταβατικού τύπου, με ψηλό τύμπανο τρούλλου. Αν και είναι κτισμένος από αργολιθοδομή, φέρει οδοντωτή διακοσμητική ταινία στις κόγχες του ιερού και ήταν διακοσμημένος εσωτερικά με τοιχογραφίες. Απεικονίζονται ο Άγιος Ευστάθιος στο διακονικό, η Αγία Ειρήνη σε στηθάριο και φυτικός διάκοσμος.

Hagios Vassileios of Methoni is a cross-shaped inscribed church of the transitional type, with a tall drum. Although it is built of rubble masonry it bears a decorative zig zag band along the niches of the sanctuary and it is decorated with wall paintings. They depict St. Eustathios, Sta. Eirini, and floral decoration.
