Κάτοψη και τομή του θαλαμοειδούς τάφου 6 της ομάδας Αγγελόπουλου στα Βολιμίδια. Ο τάφος είχε κατωφερή δρόμο με κόγχη, ενώ ο ταφικός θάλαμος περιείχε δύο άνδρες και σωρό αγγείων και οστών ζώων. Από το τελετουργικό ρυτό με κεφαλές ζώων που βρέθηκε εκεί συνάγουμε ότι οι δύο άνδρες πιθανόν να ήταν κυνηγοί και να λατρεύτηκαν αργότερα ως αφηρωισμένοι νεκροί.

Plan and section of the chamber tomb 6 of the Angelopoulos group at Volimidia. The tomb had a corridor (dromos) leading downwards, whereas the burial chamber contained two male burials, as well as a pile of pottery vessels and animal bones. The ritual rhyton found on top of the pile attests to the fact that the two men were probably hunters, worshipped at a later stage as heroes. .
