Από το λόφο του Εγκλιανού η θέα προς τη Βοϊδοκοιλιά και τον όρμο του Ναυαρίνου είναι απρόσκοπτη. Ελαιόδεντρα καλύπτουν σχεδόν όλη την έκταση ως τη θάλασσα, όπως μάλλον συνέβαινε και στη μυκηναϊκή εποχή. Η εποπτεία αυτή συνέβαλλε στο αίσθημα ασφάλειας και ευημερίας των κατοίκων του ανακτόρου.

From the top of Englianos hill the view to the bay of Navarino and to Voidokoilia beach is unhindered. Olive trees cover the land down to the sea and that's probably what happened also in the Mycenaean period. This view contributed to the sense of security and welfare of the inhabitants of the Palace.
