Ο θολωτός τάφος IV ανασκάφηκε από τον Lord William Taylour και αναστηλώθηκε το 1957. Η χρονολόγησή του ήταν δύσκολή, γιατί βρέθηκαν Μεσοελλαδική αγγεία, τα οποία όμως ήταν μάλλον σπασμένα πριν να τοποθετηθούν εκεί. Εντοπίστηκε ένας μεγάλος λάκκος προορισμένος για ταφές και ένας κτιστός τάφος στον τύπο της σαρκοφάγου. Ο τάφος είχε συληθεί ήδη από την αρχαιότητα, οπότε τα κτερίσματα που βρέθηκαν ήταν ελάχιστα. Τα ευρήματα του τάφου, που μεταφέρθηκαν στο Εθνικό Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο στην Αθήνα, περιλάμβαναν μια χρυσή βασιλική σφραγίδα με παράσταση γρύπα, 4 χρυσές γλαύκες και, το σημαντικότερο εύρημα, ένα χρυσό δαχτυλίδι με απεικόνιση ιερού κορυφής Μινωικού τύπου.

The tholos tomb IV was excavated by Lord William Taylour and was restoredin 1957. It was difficult to date it, because Middle Helladic pottery was discovered in it, but apparently the vessels had been broken before their placement in the tom. In the tholos was discovered a large burial pit and a built grave, like a sarcophagus. The tomb had been already looted in antiquity, so the grave goods were few and far between. The finds, which have been transferred to the National Archaeological Museum in Athens, comprised a golden royal sealing with a giffin, four golden owls, and a golden ring with a depiction of a Minoan summit sanctuary, probably the most important find of all.
