Ο θολωτός τάφος Ακόνας 2 (Κουκουνάρας 7) ανασκάφηκε το 1959 από τον Μαρινάτο. Στον τάφο βρέθηκαν καμμένα οστά ζώων και βελανίδια. Τα περισσότερα δείγματα κεραμικής χρονολογούνται στην ΥΕ ΙΙΙΑ-Β περίοδο. Βρέθηκαν επίσης αιχμές βελών, σφονδύλια, κάποια χάλκινα εγχειρίδια και ψήφοι υάλου.

The tholos tomb of excavated at Akona 2, Koukounara 7, was excavated in 1959 by Marinatos. In the tomb were found burned animal bones and acorns. Most pottery finds date to the LH IIIA-B period. There were also found some arrowheads, spindle whorls, some bronze daggers and glass beads.
