Άποψη της Καρποφόρας από Νοτιοανατολικά. Στην περιοχή αυτή ανασκαφηκε το διάστημα 1967-1973 ο αρχαιολογικός χώρος των Νιχωρίων και εντοπίστηκαν τόσο οικιστικά κατάλοιπα όσο και σημαντικά ταφικά μνημεία, όπως ο θολωτός τάφος, από τους μεγαλύτερους και πλουσιότερα κτερισμένους της Μεσσηνίας. (EL)
View of Karpofora from Southeast. In this region was excavated in the period 1967-1973 the archaeological site of Nichoria and were discovered remains of settlement as well as important burial monuments, such as the tholos tomb, one of the largest and richest in grave goods tombs of Messenia. (EN)
