Tο χαρακτηριστικό τριγωνικό άνοιγμα του Σπηλαίου του Νέστορα στο ακρωτήριο Κορυφάσιο, κάτω από τα τείχη του Παλαιόκαστρου. Το σπήλαιο έχει διαστάσεις περίπου 20 x 16 και ύψος κατά τόπους 30 μέτρα. Εκεί, σύμφωνα με το μύθο, φύλαγε τα κοπάδια του ο Νηλέας. Στο σπήλαιο βρέθηκαν σκεύη και εργαλεία χρονολογούμενα από την Τελική Νεολιθική ως και την ύστερη κλασική περίοδο.

The characteristic triangular opening of the Cave of Nestor on cape Koryphasion, under the walls of Palaeokastron. The cave's dimensions are about 20x16 meters and its height reaches up to 30 meters. It is there that, according to the myth, Neleus kept his cattle. In the cave were discovered tools and vessels dated to the Final Neolithic down to the Late Classical period.
