Τρίωτος πιθοειδής αμφορέας που μιμείται τον θαλάσσιο ρυθμό. Προέρχεται από τονπρώιμο μυκηναϊκό θολωτό τάφο ΙΙ στο Ρούτσι Μυρσινοχωρίου, που έχει δώσει κι άλλα αντικείμενα μινωικής προέλευσης ή έμπνευσης. Η διακόσμηση συνίσταται σε παράσταση χταποδιού, σε αρκετά φυσιοκρατική απόδοση, εντός πλοχμών. Η χρωστική είναι σε σκούρο καστανό χρώμα επί ανοιχτόχρωμου πηλού και, εκτός από τα διακοσμητικά θέματα, καλύπτει σχεδόν εξ ολοκλήρου τον λαιμό και το κάτω μέρος της βάσης. (EL)
A three-eared pithoid amphora imitating the marine style. It comes from early Mycenean tholos tomb II at Routsi, Myrsinohori, which has yielded also seveal more objects of Minoan style or imitating the Minoan style. The decoration consists of the depiction of an octopus, in a naturalistic way, within a net of offshoots. The pigment is dark brown applied against a light-coloured yellowish clay and, apart from the decorative parts it also covers almost completely the neck and the lower part of the base. (EN)
