Η διαδικασία αποκρυπτογράφησης της Γραμμικής Β' ήταν μακρά και συστηματική. Εδώ βλέπουμε αποτυπώματα από σφραγίδες καμωμένες στο χέρι από γόμμα, με τα σύμβολα της Γραμμικής Β' όπως αυτά εμφανίζονται στις πινακίδες της Πύλου, έτσι ώστε να διευκολύνεται η ταχύτερη και ακριβέστερη αποτύπωσή τους.

The process of decipherment of Linear B was long and systematic. Here we see imprints of hand-made rubber stamps with the Linear B symbols as they appear on the Pylos tablets; the purpose for making them was to achieve standardization.
