Dialiskari is situated a few kilometres south of Marathopolis in southern Trifylia. Here is located an archaeological site by the seaside, known from surface finds and surveys. In 1929 Matias Natan Valmin had already registered some spolia of ancient columns in second use in recent houses. Such an example is this mosaic floor, which has been incorporated into a house, which has been named hence “house of the mosaic”. The are has been surveyed during PRAP, whereas the area has been declared an archaeological site.
