Στο Πεταλίδι και ιδαίτερα στη θέση “Λουτρό”, που πήρε το όνομά της από συγκρότημα λουτρών της υστερορωμαϊκής περιόδου, βρέθηκαν σημαντικές ρωμαϊκές εγκαταστάσεις που περιλαμβάνουν κατάλοιπα εργαστηρίων κυρίως. Μεταξύ αυτών ανακαλύφθηκαν κλίβανοι γυαλιού, γεγονός που μαρτυρεί έντονη βιοτεχνική δραστηριότητα.

In Petalidi, particularly at the site of “Loutro”, which was named after a bath complex of the late Roman period, were discovered important Roman remains, which included particularly remains of workshops. Among them were discovered glass furnaces, which attests to an intensive industrial activity.
