Η εγκατάσταση προσφύγων στην περιοχή έγινε το 1924 - 1925. Οι περισσότεροι κάτοικοι του συνοικισμού της Αρετσούς ήταν πατρογονικά ναυτικοί ψαράδες ή και τα δύο μαζί. Συνολικά εγκαταστάθηκαν εδώ 224 οικογένειες. Επάνω στον βράχο βλέπουμε το εξοχικό κέντρο ‘’Παράδεισος’’ του Κωνσταντάκου και κάτω το Ταβερνάκι ‘’Νεράιδα’’ του Θεοδόση Καλέ.
The settlement of refugees in the area took place in 1924-1925. Most of the residents of the Aretsou neighborhood were traditionally sailors, fishermen, or both. In total, 224 families were settled here. On the rock, we can see the "Paradeisos" Resort of Konstantakos, and below, the tavern "Neráida" of Theodosis Kales.
