Στη συγκεκριμένη χαλκογραφία εικονίζεται ο χάρτης της Πάτμου, ενώ με αριθμούς υπομνηματίζονται διάφορα σημεία του νησιού (κυρίως τα λιμάνια, αλλά και η μονή του Ιωάννη του Θεολόγου και το σπήλαιο της Αποκάλυψης). Η εικόνα προέρχεται από τον β΄ τόμο του βιβλίου του Edward Daniel Clarke, Travels in various countries of Europe Asia and Africa. Part the First Russia Tartary and Turkey (1810). Part the Second Greece Egypt and the Holy Land (1813), που τυπώθηκε στο Λονδίνο το 1813. (EL)
