Με έντονες τις επιρροές από τη ρωσική πρωτοπορία και τον κοντρουκτιβισμό ο Francisco Infante-Arana και η Nonna Goriunova αναπτύσσoυν το έργο τους γύρω από την πραγματικότητα του αδύνατου, τις παράδοξες δυνατότητες και το άπειρο του σύμπαντος. Στα μέσα της δεκαετίας του ’70 ο Infante άρχισε να σκέφτεται τον συνδυασμό της δημιουργίας ενός αντικειμένου και τους δεσμούς του με το περιβάλλον του, οι οποίοι αλλοιώνονται ή μετασχηματίζονται από την παρουσία του αντικειμένου. Επεμβαίνουν συχνά με performances και αναπτύσσουν κυρίως μια σειρά από γλυπτά και εγκαταστάσεις από καθρέφτες, τα οποία μόλις τοποθετηθούν στο χώρο έρχονται να τον μεταμορφώσουν. With strong influences from Russian avant-garde and constructivism, Francisco Infante-Arana and Nonna Goriunova developed their work around the reality of the impossible, paradoxical possibilities and the infinite of the universe. In the mid-1970s, Infante began to think about the combination of the creation of an object and its connections with its environment, which are altered or transformed by the presence of the object. They often intervene with performances and primarily develop a series of sculptures and mirror installations that, once placed in a space, come to transform it. He photographs these interventions and describes the photographs as "artefacts". Their works move between kinetic art and land art, constituting strange and complex structures that challenge the surrounding landscape and simultaneously the concept of creation.
