Κατά τα μέσα της δεκαετίας του ’80 η Καλλιγά πραγματοποίησε μια σειρά σχεδίων, όπου κυριαρχούσε ως θέμα το γυναικείο γυμνό. Στο συγκεκριμένο έργο η καλλιτέχνης σχεδιάζει μέρος του γυναικείου torso και στη συνέχεια με μαλακές πινελιές «γεμίζει» τον όγκο του σώματος ενώ παράλληλα εκμεταλλεύεται τον περιβάλλοντα χώρο που αγκαλιάζει το σώμα.

During the mid-1980s, Calligas created a series of drawings featuring the female nude as the dominant theme. In this particular artwork, the artist draws a portion of the female torso and then fills in the body's volume using soft brushstrokes. Additionally, she utilises the surrounding space that envelops the body as part of her composition.
