Κατά τα μέσα της δεκαετίας του ’80 η Καλλιγά πραγματοποίησε μια σειρά σχεδίων, όπου κυριαρχούσε ως θέμα το γυναικείο γυμνό, το οποίο αποτελεί προσφιλές της θέμα. Στο συγκεκριμένο σχέδιο η καλλιτέχνιδα αποτυπώνει το γυναικείο torso με μαύρο και κόκκινο μολύβι σε χαρτί. Η κίνηση των γραμμών φανερώνει την ένταση του σχεδίου, το οποίο "χτίζεται" σε έναν κάθετο άξονα με δυνατές οριζοντίους.

During the mid-1980s, Calligas created a series of drawings centered around the theme of the female nude, which was a favorite subject of hers. In this particular drawing, the artist captures the female torso using black and red pencils on paper. The movement of the lines reveals the intensity of the composition, which is built along a vertical axis with strong horizontal elements.
