Η τρίπτυχη εγκατάστασή της Έφης Χαλυβοπούλου “Τissue I, II, III”, της συλλογής του MOMus-Μουσείου Σύγχρονης Τέχνης, πραγματεύεται περίτεχνα στοιχεία και έρευνες της Βιοτεχνολογίας και της Γενετικής. Η καλλιτέχνιδα αναφέρεται στο ανθρώπινο σώμα ως βιολογική κατασκευή, μεταπλάθοντας εικαστικά την εργαστηριακή ατμόσφαιρα, συχνά μέσα από εικόνες μικροσκοπίου. Ενσωματώνοντας καλώδια, μεμβράνες, φωτεινές πηγές και ίνες αναπαριστά το ανθρώπινο γονιδίωμα με τους εσωτερικούς νευρώνες, συσχετίζοντας τη βιολογική λειτουργία του σώματος με περίπλοκες οδούς της μνήμης και της νόησης.

The three-panel installation "Tissue I, II, III" by Efis Halyvopoulou, from the collection of the MOMus Museum of Contemporary Art, deals with elaborate elements and research in Biotechnology and Genetics. The artist refers to the human body as a biological construct, visually transforming the laboratory atmosphere, often through microscope images. Incorporating wires, membranes, light sources and fibres, she recreates the human genome with internal neurons, relating the biological function of the body to intricate pathways of memory and cognition.
