The digital collection “Cultural and Historical Archive of the Petralia Family” comprises more than 3,000 items dating from the nineteenth to the twenty-first century, documenting the history, activities, and social presence of the family over time. The collection consists primarily of textual material—such as documents, letters, reports, publications, books, literary works, and diaries—as well as extensive sets of press clippings and publication excerpts.
It also includes rich visual material, such as photographs, prints, postcards, and stamps, documenting aspects of both private and public life. A significant part of the collection is made up of three-dimensional objects, including souvenirs, medals, albums, coins and photographs from the Athens 1896 Olympic Games.
