The National Gallery’s digital collection on SearchCulture comprises nearly 5,000 works of art and forms part of the largest and most significant collection of modern Greek art, totaling over 15,000 works. Chronologically, it spans artistic production in Greece from the 14th century to the present day. The collection includes approximately 2,400 paintings, 1,100 engravings, 1,000 drawings, and 380 sculptures, featuring works by the most prominent Greek artists as well as selected international figures such as Goya, Matisse, and Picasso.
