Institution : Municipality of Platanias
The digital collection comprises of 98 text records, mainly books, but also some speeches and hymn books, covering the second half of the 19th and the whole of the 20th centuries. Originating from the Platanias Municipality with the Cretan Orthodox Academy in collaboration with the Holy Metropolis of Kisamos and Selino and the Holy Metropolis of Kydonia and Apokoronos, the collection sheds light on the orthodox heritage of the region of Chania, Crete.
