The collection presents more than 1,470 bronze coins of the Macedonian Kingdom, originating from three important private collections: that of Alpha Bank in Athens, that of Charles Hersh—part of which is now held by the British Museum—and that of Dimitris Portolos, which has been donated to the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki.
