Πολυγωνικό οχυρωματικό τείχος στη θέση Άγιος Αθανάσιος Μαριολάτας. Οι οχυρώσεις προστάτευαν την πόλη της Δωρίδας Βόιον ή Βοίον, μια από τις πόλεις της Δωρικής Τετράπολης (οι άλλες τρεις ήταν το Κυτίνιον, ο Ερινεος, και η Ακύφας-Πίνδος). Το Βόιον ήταν η μονη από τις τέσσερισ πολεις που μνημονεύεται σε πηγές του 6ου αιώνα μ.Χ., όπως στον Ιεροκλή.

Polygonal fortification wall at the site Agios Athanasios of Mariolata. The fortifications wer protecting the city of Doris Voion, one of the cities of the Doric Tetrapolis (the other three were Cytinion, Erineos and Akyphas-Pindos). Voion was the only one of the four cities still mentione in 6th century sources (Hierocles).

Mur polygonal au site Saint Athanase à Marioalata. Les fortifications protégeaient la cité de Doride Voion, une des cités de la Tétrapolis Dorique (les trois autres étaient Cytinion, Erinéos et Akyphas-Pindos). Voion était la seule des quattre cités mentionnée aux sources du 6e s. ap. J.-C. (Hieroclès).
