Κεφαλή καρυάτιδας, μέρος αγάλματος που κατείχε θέση κίονα στον Θησαυρό των Κνιδίων, με την κεφαλή να συγκρατεί το επιστύλιο. Η Καρυάτιδα φέρει στεφάνη στα μαλλιά που αποδίδονται με αλλεπάλληλους βοστρύχους γύρω από το πρόσωπο. Πάνω από το κεφάλι ορθώνεται κυλινδρικός κάλαθος που έφερε το κιονόκρανο. Ο κάλαθος φέρει πλούσιο διάκοσμο ο κάλαθος διακοσμείται από ανάγλυφη παράσταση που απεικονίζει δυο ομάδες προσώπων. Στο κέντρο απεικονίζεται ο Απόλλωνας με τη λύρα και στο δεξί άκρο ο Πάνας που παίζει την σύριγγα. Η βάση του διαδήματος και οι λοβοί των αυτιών φέρουν οπές, για την προσαρμογή άλλοτε ένθετου μεταλλικού διακοσμητικού στοιχείου, ενώ οι οφθαλμοί διέθεταν ένθετη χρωματιστή σφαίρα από διαφορετικό υλικό.

Tête d'une caryatide, partie d'une statue qui fonctionnait comme colonne à la trésorerie des Cnidiens; la tête soutenait l'architrave. La caryatide porte une couronne sur ses cheveux, qui sont rendus avec des boucles autour de sa tête, un sur l'autre. Sur la tête se trouve un panier cylindrique portant le capital. Le panier porte un riche décor avec représentation en relief de deux groupes de personnes. Dans le centre est représenté Apollo avec sa lyre et à l'extrémité droite du dieu Pan jouant la seringe. La base de la couronne et les lobes d'oreille portent des trous pour ajuster un élément décoratif incrusté de métal, tandis que les yeux avaient une incrustation de couleur d'un matériau différent.

Head of a caryatid, part of a statue which functioned as column at the treasury of the Cnidians; the head was supporting the architrave. The caryatid bears a crown on her hair, which are rendered with curls around her head, one over the other. Over the head stands a cylindrical basket bearing the capital. The basket bears a rich decoration consisting a depiction in relief of two groups of people. In the centre is depicted Apollo with his lyre and on the right end the god Pan playing the syrinx. The base of the crown and the ear lobes bear holes for adjusting an inlay metal decorative element, whereas the eyes had an inlay coloured bulb of a different material.
