Επιστολή του επιμελητή αρχαιοτήτων Δελφών Α. Ε. Κοντολέοντος προς τον αστυνόμο του Χρισσού με ημερομηνία 5 Απριλίου 1906. Ο Κοντολέων ζητά από τον αστυνόμο να απαγορεύσει το πλύσιμο στην Κασταλία πηγή μέχρι το πέρας των Ολυμπιακών αγώνων, καθώς αναμένεται μεγάλη επισκεψιμότητα στον αρχαιολογικό χώρο και θα ήταν άκομψο να βλέπουν οι ξένοι τις γυναίκες του χωριού να πλένουν ρούχα ή να πλένονται οι ίδιες στην ιερή πηγή.

Letter by the curator of antiquities of Delphi A.E.Kondoleon to the chief of the police of Chrisso, dated April 5th, 1906. Kondoleon asks the chief of the police to prohibit washing and bathing in Castalia until the end of the Olympic Games, as the archaeological site of Delphi is expected to have many visitors during the Games and it would be unfit for the foreigners to see the women of the village washing clothes or bathing themselves in the holy fountain.

Lettre par le curateur des antiquités de Delphes AEKondoleon au chef de la police de Chrisso, datée du 5e Avril, 1906. Kondoleon demande au chef de la police d'interdire laver et se baigner dans Castalia jusqu'à la fin des Jeux olympiques, parce que le site archéologique de Delphes devrait avoir beaucoup de visiteurs pendant les Jeux et il serait impropre pour les étrangers de voir les femmes du village laver des vêtements ou se baigner elles-memes dans la fontaine sacrée.
