Εγκωμιαστική κριτική της εφημερίδας \" L'Independence Hellenique\", στο βιβλίο του C.K. Tuckerman για τους νεώτερους Έλληνες, το οποίο εκδόθηκε στα αγγλικά υπό τον τίτλο: \"The Greeks of Today\". Το έργο εξετάζει των χαρακτήρα των νέων Ελλήνων από κοινωνική, πολιτική, τοπική, ηθική και θρησκευτική σκοπιά προβαίνοντας σε μία ανάλυση τόσο των θετικών όσο και των αρνητικών χαρακτηριστικών. Σημαντική συμβολή είναι και το κεφάλαιο που αναφέρεται στα τραγικά γεγονότα των σφαγών στο Δήλεσι που είχαν λάβει χώρα το 1870. 15/03/1873 (EL)
