April 28, 1827: Church agrees with the view expressed by Cochran in his last letter. He considers that the Hydraians are the most capable for the attack they are organizing. The rain the previous day created many problems. He will pressure Karaiskakis to attack the same or the next day. He sent orders to the government to gather troops to monitor Ibrahim and to send supplies.
28 Απριλίου 1827: Ο Τσωρτς συμφωνεί με την άποψη που εκφράζει ο Κόχραν στο τελευταίο γράμμα του. Θεωρεί ότι οι Υδραίοι είναι οι πιο ικανοί για την επίθεση που οργανώνουν. Η βροχή την προηγούμενη μέρα δημιούργησε πολλά προβλήματα. Θα πιέσει τον Καραϊσκάκη να επιτεθεί την ίδια ή την επομένη μέρα. Έστειλε στην κυβέρνηση εντολές να συγκεντρώσουν στρατεύματα για να παρακολουθούν τον Ιμπραήμ και να στείλουν εφόδια.
