Φωτογραφία της τοποθεσίας "Ξυδιά" στα Καλαβρύτα όπου υπήρχε το λιγνιτωρυχείο Παπανδρέου. Η εκμετάλλευση του λιγνίτη ξεκίνησε στα ορυχεία του Ξυδιά το 1918 για οικιακούς σκοπούς θέρμανσης, και 5 χρόνια αργότερα η εξόρυξη εντατικοποιήθηκε. Το λιγνιτωρυχείο του Ξυδιά συνέχισε την λειτουργία του μέχρι την δεκαετία του ’80. (EL)
