WOMEN’S OVERCOAT (SAYIAS) OF THE TRADITIONAL COSTUME OF EPIRUS (EN)

Μάλλινος, αμάνικος, γυναικείος επενδύτης-σαγιάς, σε μαύρο χρώμα της παραδοσιακής ενδυμασίας της Ηπείρου. Όλες οι απολήξεις στα ανοίγματα είναι κυματοειδείς και φέρουν επίρραπτη διακοσμητική δαντέλα ολόγυρα. Φέρει ενυφασμένες οριζόντιες και κάθετες ρίγες σε άσπρο, κίτρινο και μωβ χρώμα. Στο πίσω μέρος σχηματίζει τέσσερις φαρδιές πιέτες. (EL)
Women’s sleeveless black woollen overcoat (sayias) of the traditional costume of Epirus. The ends of all openings are wavy and have appliqued decorative lace all around. The overcoat is embellished with horizontal and vertical white, yellow and purple stripes. On the back, it forms four wide pleats. (EN)
