Θραύσμα τουρκικού βλήματος των Βαλκανικών Πολέμων. Ο κάλυκας είναι κυλινδρικός και κατασκευασμένος από συμπαγές σίδερο. Η βάση του είναι παχύτερη, αλλά στενότερη του λοιπού κυλίνδρου. Ο κάλυκας προσφέρθηκε ως αναμνηστικό δώρο στην Πηνελόπη Δέλτα από τον αδελφό της Αλέξανδρο Μπενάκη μόλις αυτός επέστρεψε από το μέτωπο των Βαλκανικών Πολέμων. (EL)
Fragment of a Turkish projectile from the Balkan Wars. The shell is cylindrical and made of solid iron. Its base is thicker, but narrower than the rest of the cylinder. The shell was offered as a commemorative gift to Penelope Delta from her brother Alexandros Benakis as soon as he returned from the Balkan Wars front. (EN)
