Η λάμα του εγχειριδίου είναι μονόστομη και απολήγει σε αιχμή. Οι δύο όψεις της είναι ελαφρώς αετοειδείς καθώς κατά μήκος στο κέντρο είναι ελαφρώς υπερυψωμένες. Η πρόσθια όψη φέρει εγχάρακτες τις ενδείξεις: "JOHN POUND & CO, 81.82 & 83 LEADENHALL STREET E.C ENGLAND". Στο σημείο συνάντησης λάμας και λαβής υπάρχει κάθετη σιδερένια πλάκα σε σχήμα ελαφρώς οβάλ. Η λαβή είναι προέκταση της λάμας και φέρει στις δύο πλευρές μαύρη κοκκάλινη επένδυση με δικτυωτή εγχάρακτη διακόσμηση.

The blade of the knife is single-edged and ends in a point. Its two sided are slightly curved as they are slightly elevated along the centre. The front is inscribed: "JOHN POUND & CO, 81.82 & 83 LEADENHALL STREET E.C ENGLAND". At the point where the blade and the grip meet there is a vertical iron plate in a slightly oval shape. The grip is an extension of the blade and has a black bone plate on both sides with an engraved mess design.
