Αθλητικό μετάλλιο πριν το 1896. Είναι αργυρό με δερμάτινη θήκη και αθλοθετήθηκε το 1875 από τον Ευάγγελο Ζάππα. Είναι προσφορά του Ηλία Δεσποτόπουλου, προέδρου του Δ.Σ. της Εταιρείας προς αναβίωσιν της Ολυμπίας, ΝΕΑ ΑΛΤΙΣ. Χαράχτηκε από τόν Barre και κόπηκε στο γαλλικό νομισματοσκοπείο. Στη μια όψη φέρει το κεφάλι του Γεωργίου του Α’ και αναγράφει ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ Α’ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ και στην άλλη όψη ΑΓΩΝΟΘΕΤΗΣ ΕΥΑΓΓΕΛΛΗΣ ΖΑΠΠΑΣ- ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑ- ΑΘΗΝΗΣΙ- Α-Ώ-Ο-Ε ΤΑΞΕΩΣ Β'. (EL)
