The two girls—cousins—are sitting on the iron railings of the Kouri Pier. On the right is Tasoula Sotiraki, the younger daughter of Nikiforos, and on the left, Tasoula Sotiraki, the older daughter of Nikos. Behind them is the rock with the centers, and below, the boats, the Zerkia (the hanging racks for nets), the small tavernas, and the Aretsoú Pier.
Οι δύο κοπέλες – ξαδέλφες - κάθονται στα σιδερένια κάγκελα της σκάλας του Κουριού. Η εκ δεξιών είναι η Τασούλα Σωτηράκη η μικρή του Νικηφόρου και η εκ αριστερών η Τασούλα Σωτηράκη η μεγάλη του Νίκου. Και πίσω τους ο βράχος με τα κέντρα του καθώς και κάτω οι βάρκες τα Ζερκιά (κρεμάστρες), τα ταβερνάκια και η σκάλα της Αρετσούς
