On the initiative of the president of the association, Admiral Votsi Christos Efstathiadis and the other members of the Board of Directors, the above memorandum for the establishment of a new parish and the construction of a church was drawn up and submitted to His Holiness Metropolitan Panteleimon of Thessaloniki, with 556 signatures of the heads of most of the families of the settlement.
Με πρωτοβουλία του προέδρου του συλλόγου Ναυάρχου Βότση Χρήστου Ευσταθιάδη και των λοιπών μελών του Διοικητικού του Συμβουλίου συντάχθηκε το παραπάνω υπόμνημα για την ίδρυση νέας ενορίας και την κατασκευή ναού, που υποβλήθηκε στον Παναγιότατο Μητροπολίτη Θεσ/νίκης Παντελεήμονα, με 556 υπογραφές των αρχηγών των περισσότερων οικογενειών του συνοικισμού.
