Από μαχητικό αεροσκάφος F-5. Τοποθετείται συνήθως στο ρύγχος του αεροσκάφους, όπου υπάρχει ομαλή ροή αέρα. Υπολογίζει τη δυναμική πίεση του αέρα, από την οποία υπολογίζεται η ταχύτητα του αεροσκάφους.
