Το Σπήλαιο Πηγές Αγγίτη (ή Μααρά) βρίσκεται στη βόρεια Ελλάδα, 1 χλμ. βόρεια του οικισμού Αγγίτης (Δήμος Προσοτσάνης), 25 χλμ. δυτικά της πόλης της Δράμας. Η κύρια φυσική είσοδος του σπηλαίου αποτελεί την πηγή του Ποταμού Αγγίτη, παραπόταμου του Στρυμόνα και βρίσκεται σε υψόμετρο 127 μ. Το σπήλαιο βρίσκεται στους νότιους πρόποδες του Φαλακρού Όρους και είναι ένα από τα σημαντικότερα στην Ελλάδα, δεδομένου ότι είναι μοναδικό που διασχίζεται από ποταμό. (EL)
Cave Springs Aggitis (or Maara) is located in northern Greece, 1 km. North of the village Aggitis (Prosotsani), 25 km. West of the city of Drama. The main natural entrance of the cave is the source of the River Aggitis tributary of Struma at an altitude of 127 m. The cave is located at the southern foot of Falakro Mountain and is one of the most important in Greece, since it is only crossed by the river. (EN)
