"ύστερον ελθόντες οι Βλάχοι εκ της Δακίας ήτοι της μεγάλης Βλαχίας, εκατοίκησαν εις αυτό [την Πίνδον], καθώς και εις το Ταϋγετον της Πελοποννήσου. Εις αυτά τα όρη [της Πίνδου] κείνται εις τα χωριά των Αγράφων και του Καρπενησίου" (EL)
