Part of a bronze vase-attachment in the forme of a lion (EN)
Τμήμα ορειχάλκινου λέοντα, από τον οποίο σώζονται ελλιπώς η κεφαλή, ο λαιμός, μέρος της ράχης και του αριστερού ποδιού. Ο λέων είναι κατασκευασμένος με την τεχνική της χύτευσης. Αποδίδεται βρυχώμενος, με το στόμα ανοιχτό. Οι λεπτομέρειες του προσώπου, όπως τα αμυγδαλωτά μάτια, αποδίδονται με αβαθείς εγχαράξεις. Η κόμη αποδίδεται με τη μορφή δακτυλίου, πίσω από τον οποίο ξεπροβάλλουν τα αφτιά του ζώου. Αποτελούσε προσάρτημα σε αγγείο. (EL)
