Marble capital from the Treasury of the Siphnians (EN)
Μαρμάρινο κωδωνόσχημο κιονόκρανο από το Θησαυρό των Σιφνίων. Συσχετίζεται με τη βόρεια Καρυάτιδα του θησαυρού, επάνω στον κάλαθο της οποία στηριζόταν. Ο εχίνος του φέρει ένα τολμηρό ανάγλυφο σύμπλεγμα: δύο ανάγλυφοι λέοντες κατασπαράσσουν ελάφι. Τα σκέλη των λεόντων είναι κολοβά, ενώ από το ένα λείπει και μέρος των οπισθίων. (EL)
