In the centre, KYRILLOS BY THE GRACE OF GOD PATRIARCH OF JERUSALEM AND OF ALL PALESTINE. The indulgence text, occupying fourteen lines with blanks in the fifth and sixth, reads Our Mediocrity…and all the Saints. Amen. The sign manual of Kyrillos follows. The eight variously shaped vignettes surrounding the texts depict: at the corner the four evangelists, both standing and seated, beside their apocalyptic symbols; top, the Resurrection; bottom, the Holy Sepulchre; and at the sides the symbols of the Passion.
