Το σπάραγμα ανήκει σε κατεστραμμένο ψηφιδωτό δάπεδο του οποίου το κεντρικό θέμα είναι δυο αρσενικά ελάφια με μεγάλα κέρατα που πίνουν νερό από αναβρυτήριο μέσα σε τοπίο με άνθη και πουλιά. Η παράσταση με ελάφια να ξεδιψούν από αναβρυτήριο παραπέμπει στο μυστήριο του βαπτίσματος και συναντάται συχνά τον 5ο-6ο αι. σε βαπτιστήρια και ναούς.

The fragment belongs to a damaged mosaic floor whose central subject is two bucks with large antlers drinking water from a fountain in a landscape with flowers and birds. The scene with deer quenching their thirst from a fountain refers to the mystery of baptism and is often found in the 5th-6th c. in baptisteries and churches.
