Τμήμα εικόνας με την Παναγία Βρεφοκρατούσα και τον Άγιο Αθανάσιο τον Αθωνίτη. Χαλκογραφία. Μέσα 19ου αι. (;). Άγιον Όρος (;). Χαράκτης: άγνωστος. Διατηρείται μόνο το άνω δεξί τμήμα της εικόνας με τον αρχάγγελο Γαβριήλ, τμήμα του προσώπου του Χριστού και του Αγίου Αθανασίου του Αθωνίτη με τη σχετική επιγραφή. Όπως είναι γνωστό από άλλα παραδείγματα, η χαλκογραφία απεικόνιζε την Παναγία Οδηγήτρια πλαισιωμένη από τις ολόσωμες μορφές των αγίων Νικολάου (;) και Αθανάσιου Αθωνίτη. Ψηλά οι αρχάγγελοι Μιχαήλ και Γαβριήλ, γονατιστοί σε σύννεφα, κρατούν το στέμμα της Παναγίας. [Πηγή: Ντ. Παπαστράτου, Χάρτινες Εικόνες. Part of an icon with the Virgin Mary and Child and Saint Athanasios the Athonite. Copper engraving. Mid-19th century. (?). Mount Athos (?). Engraver: unknown. Only the upper right part of the icon with the archangel Gabriel, part of the face of Christ and Saint Athanasius the Athonite with the relevant inscription is preserved. As is known from other engravings, the icon depicted the Virgin Mary Hodegetria framed by the full-length figures of Saints Nicholas (?) and Athanasios the Athonite. Two archangels at the top, Michael and Gabriel, kneeling in clouds, hold the crown of the Virgin Mary. [Source: D. Papastratos, Paper Icons.
