Δεκαεξανούμμιο Ιουστινιανού Α΄ (526-562/3) του νομισματοκοπείου της Θεσσαλονίκης. Μέτριας διατήρησης.
Στον εμπροσθότυπο απεικονίζεται ο αυτοκράτορας σε προτομή προς τα δεξιά. Φορεί διάδημα, θώρακα και paludamentum (στρατιωτικός μανδύας). Περιμετρικά αναγράφεται [DNIVSTINI] ANVSPPAV (Dominus Noster Iustinianus Perpetuus Augustus, Ο Κύριός μας ο Ιουστινιανός ο αιώνιος Αύγουστος).
Στον οπισθότυπο στο κέντρο αναγράφεται IS (16 νούμμια) αριστερά Α και δεξιά Ρ, τα γράμματα που συνοδεύουν τις εκδόσεις του νομισματοκοπείου της Θεσσαλονίκης. Κάτω στο έξεργο η επιγραφή ΤЄS δηλώνει το νομισματοκοπείο της Θεσσαλονίκης.

Copper sixteen nummi of Justinian I (526-562/3) from the mint of Thessaloniki mint. Of average preservation.
On the obverse there is the emperor’s bust to the right wearing diadem, cuirass and paludamentum (military cloak), [DNIVSTINI] ANVSPPAV (Dominus Noster Iustinianus Perpetuus Augustus) .
On the reverse, in the centre, there is the lettering IS (16 nummi), on the left A and on the right R, letters which accompanied the mintings of the Thessaloniki mint. There is a cross at the top and at the bottom in the exergue TES signifying the mint of Thessaloniki.
