Οι ερωτικές σκηνές και γενικότερα το ερωτικό στοιχείο είναι πολύ συχνό στα έργα της Άλεξ Μυλωνά. Άλλοτε το προσεγγίζει από τη σκοπιά του δεσμού, της ένωσης, της συντροφικότητας, άλλοτε εξυμνεί τη γυναίκα ως πηγή ζωής. Στο έργο "Θερισμός", η καλλιτέχνιδα σκιαγραφεί με λιτές γραμμές τα περιγράμματα δύο μορφών που ερωτοτροπούν υπό το βλέμμα μιας τρίτης μέσα σε ένα χαώδες φόντο που αποτυπώνεται με γρήγορες, σκλήρές μολυβιές και παραπέμπει σε ένα αχυρένιο περιβάλλον.

At times, she approaches it from the perspective of bonding, unity, and companionship, while other times she celebrates women as a source of life. In the artwork "Harvest," the artist outlines with simple lines the contours of two figures engaged in an erotic encounter, under the gaze of a third figure, against a chaotic background depicted with rapid, harsh pencil strokes, reminiscent of a straw-filled environment.
