Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Οίκος Βενετών πατρικίων, που έδωσε μεταξύ των άλλων τρεις δόγηδες της Βενετίας (16ος και 18ος αι.) και τέσσερις δούκες της Κρήτης (15ος και 16ος αι.). Ένας κλάδος του εγκαταστάθηκε στο Αιγαίο τον 15ο αιώνα και για ένα διάστημα εξουσίασε την Αντίπαρο. Το συγκεκριμένο οικόσημο, με χρονολογία 1710, βρίσκεται στο δάπεδο του παλαιού κλίτους του καθολικού ναού του Αγίου Αντωνίου της Πάντουα (Καπουκίνων), στο Κάστρο της Νάξου. Πρόκειται για τον Antonio Loredano, ο οποίος επιμελήθηκε την επισκευή του ναού.

Historical Notice: Venetian patrician house, including three doges of Venice (16th and 18th c.) and four dukes of Crete (15th and 16th c.). A branch of the same family was established in the Archipelago in the 15th century, and later ruled for a while the island of Antiparos.This particular coat-of-arms, dated 1710, is to be found on the floor of the older section of the catholic church of Agios Antonios of Padua, in the citadel of Naxos. It belongs to Antonio Loredano, who took care of the repairing of this church.
