Ταύτιση φορέα του οικόσημου: Ιωάννης Μαραγκός, καθολικός επίσκοπος Τήνου και Μυκόνου (1866-1874) (EL)
Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Οικογένεια της Τήνου. Το συγκεκριμένο ξυλόγλυπτο οικόσημο ανήκει σε μέλος της οικογένειας που διετέλεσε καθολικός επίσκοπος Τήνου και Μυκόνου, όπως προκύπτει και από το επισκοπικό καπέλλο με έξι θυσσάνους σε τρεις σειρές. Βρίσκεται στον άμβωνα του μητροπολιτικού ναού στην Ξινάρα, ο οποίος οικοδομήθηκε επί των ημερών του. (EL)

Identification of the bearer: Ioannis Marangos, catholic bishop of Tinos and Mykonos (1866-1874) (EN)
Historical Notice: Family of Tinos. This particular wood-crafted coat-of-arms belongs to a member of the family who became catholic bishop of Tinos and Mykonos, and bears a bishop's ecclesiastical hat with six tassels on each side arranged in three rows of one, two and three. It is to be found in the cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary, built during his term. (EN)
