Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Οίκος γαλλο-ιταλικής καταγωγής (Sommerive, Sommariva, Sommaripa), που εγκαταστάθηκε στο Δουκάτο του Αιγαίου τον 14ο αιώνα και εξουσίασε τα νησιά Πάρο, Αντίπαρο και Άνδρο, ενώ κατείχε και φέουδα στη Νάξο. Σε μέλος της οικογένειας αυτής ανήκει το εικονιζόμενο οικόσημο (λέων όρθιος δεξιόστροφος σε ζωνοφόρο πεδίο) που βρίσκεται στο ναό της Μονής Αγίου Αντωνίου στην κορυφή του λόφου Κεφάλου της Πάρου.

Historical Notice: Noble family with French and Italian origins (Sommerive, Sommariva, Sommaripa), established in the Duchy of Archipelago in the 14th century, who ruled the islands of Paros, Antiparos and Andros, while possessing feuds in Naxos as well. This particular coat-of-arms (lion rampant looking right on a barry field) belongs to a member of this family and is to be found in the church of the monastery of Agios Antonios, on the top of the Kefalos hill of Paros.
