Μέλη της υπήρξαν κτήτορες και ιδιοκτήτες της Μονής Υψηλοτέρας και ενός πύργου στην Κάτω Ποταμιά, καγκελλάριοι και νοτάριοι της κοινότητας. Σε μέλος της οικογένειας αυτής ανήκει και το συγκεκριμένο οικόσημο. (EL)

Historical Notice: Family of notables of Naxos, including the builders and owners of the Monastery of Ypsilotera and of a family tower in Kato Potamia, chancellors and notaries of the local community. It was among the very few orthodox families possessing feuds in the 17th c. This particular coat-of-arms belongs to a member of that family. (EN)
