Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Το έμβλημα του Καθολικού Τάγματος των Φραγκισκανών Μοναχών (Καπουκίνων) παρατίθεται εδώ καταχρηστικά, καθώς δεν πρόκειται για εραλδικό μνημείο με την στενή έννοια. Τα χέρια του Ιησού και του Αγίου Φραγκίσκου διασταυρώνονται με φόντο τον σταυρό. Οι Καπουκίνοι εγκαταστάθηκαν στην Νάξο από το 1628 και ο συγκεκριμένος ναός κτίστηκε το 1655-1658.

Historical Notice: The emblem of the Franciscan Order (Capucines) is presented here in excess, since it is not a heraldic monument proper. The crossed arms of Christ and St. Francis are presented against a cross in the background. The Capucines were established in Naxos since 1628 and this particular church was built in 1655-1658.
